Gary has taught guitar in over forty primary schools and more than twenty secondary schools around London and the south of England. He has also worked in secondary schools as a music teacher. About the Teacher
Gary Brown is an experienced guitar player and fully qualified teacher. Gary studied at Guitar Institute (now Guitar-X) in London, Brunel University and London College of Music. He has also worked as a grade examiner for the London College of Music / Registry of Guitar Tutors, examining candidates from preliminary grade to grade eight. He has produced numerous CDs and written a popular instructional book on modal playing, which is available to purchase. Gary has either taught or performed in hundreds of places on five continents. Gary loves all kinds of music and loves to play as much as possible. Other interests include astronomy and travel. Gary still has plans for many more explorations, including to China, Russia and the Indian sub-continent.
